Released from project on last Thursday. Salary bracket is more than 30 lakhs

Released from project on last Thursday. Salary bracket is more than 30 lakhs . After hearing all the stuff, I wanted to resign gracefully. I don’t want to continue in TCS for my better mental health . Can I quit. Will RMG release early or will wait for severance pay. Please pour your insights and need suggestions on how much time we need to stay while we are in bench.

Buddy don't resign unless asked to do so, buy your time to give some interviews. Don't be emotional and resign directly. I know you might be frustrated but keep your emotions aside and buy as much time as possible to make space for interviews so that you can land something.

Don't resign on emotional grounds ... try to stay tough... also hearing that they are going to do away with fluidity list ... unconfirmed news ... take your time to get a better offer and then resign.

Best would be to join on customer side, where TCS is the service provider... u can take a sweet revenge on the tcs managers (all talk and think in same way), escalate on every delivery failure, ask tcs to pay fines, shout and howl misbehave in same way like the tcs rmg is doing now ... so that managers resign.

On a side note, this misbehaviour of tcs (similar like Trump's) is going to haunt tcs for years... such a strong workforce, if 50% of employees family members strt boycotting Tata's goods / services, it is going to jolt Tata's business in big way.

BTW, Tata's are in big financial crunch, have sold Tata consumer, Titan shares in block trades to get funds... seems like this layoff is related to funds crunch. Looks like employees with salaries less than 10L are the safest lot ... does not matter what skillset, banding they have!

That's exactly what EMG wants to think.. They cannot terminate a talent unless one did something horrible.

They want you resign by yourself, otherwise if they terminate someone on other grounds a case will be filed against RMG and TCS. They want you put your paper by your own.. So that they can save their ass...

First search a job as market now is not that good… then put down your papers. If you are in bench RMG will release you in a week

Sad to read the post & the comments. Even when I was on the bench a few months back, RMG appeared very cold and uninterested. They were downright rude to the juniors, pointing out trivial items and humiliating them. However for the seniors they were not directly rude, but made very clear that there would be no extra help or benefits for being a senior resource. Luckily I got a project after 5 weeks on bench. Was a very frustrating period of time indeed.

If you put papers they will release you immediately, no payment, no notice period. If you are not able to get a project, they will ask to resign and provide some severance in most cases I've seen. Days count depends on x number of things which I don't know.

Now a days TCS management is doing so much micro management and their behaviour is also too bad. It sucks now to be in TCS
