Release request being ignored.

Hey, I've been at TCS for two years, but I've never liked this BFSI unit. I wanted a Node.js or Python project (data science, ML, or AGI), and I finally got one, but they forced me into this one initially, saying unit changes were illegal and would cause me issues. Later during my time here, They told me to wait a year for a release, which I did. My manager, who promised a November 2024 or February 2025 release, left in September!. And with the new manager i didn't ask him as I was in a tough spot financially, so I couldn't risk a lower band or losing the innovator upgrade. Now my lead gave me a C rating(another long story), and she says my release will take three quarters to find a replacement. I even suggested three people from our team who wanted to swap with me! I've wasted so much time, missed the innovator upgrade, and I'm desperate to get out of this domain. Any ideas? Any leads on projects in Node.js, Python, data science, ML, or AGI?

Don't expect a release from BFSI. just cut time from work to prepare yourself Connect with people who have developer experience on your preferred tech stack. Learn from their experience. Start looking out for switching opportunities. TCS is a trap nothing else.

Just prepare for interviews and switch to other organisation. You will only waste your time in TCS with these releases and all.
