Release Or Promotion confused

I am near to 3 years experience, i started my career for a project and been stuck here and now I am the only one from tcs side handling this project with development, testing, production support, tickets handling, direct connects with users and clients what not almost everything. So I asked for salary revision or promotion or release from the project but they are asking to clear wings because that is the only thing they can point out to me. Even they are asking to wait for my release as it's been only 2 months that one of my team members was released. I am confused about what to do . I badly need a release from the project. Can anyone suggest what can be done i cannot ignore work as it is fully micro managing project
