Release in TCS

If u already completed 2 yrs in that prj then u r eligible for release but in tcs it's all in hand of ur manager only...first the thing that matters here like how much dependency u have in team,try to decrease that dependency then start on delayings ur work items ,take unplanned leave as frm statement it's already revealed that u already ask for release but he is not ready so it will force him to rethink to his decision,but also just start preparing for outside interviews as well as backup option.
