Trending @Infosys; Release from the project

I am working at Infosys as a DSE. For the past 2.5 years, I have been working on the Citizens project, but I am being released from it on May 29. After that, I will be on the bench. Should I start looking for new opportunities now, or take a short break for a month or two and then try for another project? Or should I consider switching to another company?
