Release from project process

Mailed for IJP approval to my manger 7 months back, but first they told we cant release you as we have dependence on for at least 6 months. Now it has been 7 months n even after multiple reminder they are not approving or commenting on my IJP. What should I do. Also if I go beech will it impact my salary and tgere will be pressure to leave organization
