I have a serious problem (one of my family members is having health related issues ) and it is not allowing me to concentrate on work , Can I get released from the Project? I don't want to talk this to my managers , Can directly approach HR , I need to keep my privacy on it !

I hear you, it's really tense when this happens. Talk to the previous managers you have a good relationship with. You can get released but only after getting support from the HCM manager. I hope you overcome this

Unless your HCM initiates it, HR doesnt care
