Release from Project (C1-Y)

I'm getting released from my project, it is a client which had a history of not letting anyone go. But to my surprise a lot of guys like me are getting released this quarter. I talked to a few of my classmates from College too, to my surprise they too are getting released from their projects. What exactly is happening?

Anyways this is my skillet - Qlik sense, Nprinting, QMC, Core Java, Springboot, SQL, C++. If anyone has an opportunity please let me know, it will be a great help.
