Release from project and Base location Transfer

I joined tcs on May 2021 been allocated to a project which is of gis field which is of no use in the real world it's going to be almost 3 years now in the project. It was completely work from home. The bad thing is I'm from South and I got base location as delhi. So my primary concern is will we get base location transfer if I get released from the project. The project location is also delhi based. They are calling us to offices soon. The thing is for the work we are doing going to delhi and working for this project is a waste. Any suggestions will be helpful
