Release from project
Hi guys, I was given misinformation about the project and it is extending. I tried to tell my manager that I won't be able to continue for the extension and he is saying No. How to proceed further? As this project is affecting me mentally as well as physically.
Misinformation? Or your inability to ask the right questions? Manager's 'No' is not a full stop, it's a comma. Escalate, if needed. Kya aapne HR se baat ki?
Maybe my inability to ask question. They said this project migration is already done and I have to do production support for just two months, then either I will get released or given a developer role. Now they are saying it is extended to 5 more months, I asked them to give me release after 2 months. They are saying no
Also only after coming into the project I get to know the migration is not completely done, and I wasn't given the opportunity that they have promised. And when I said this to my manager he said, "I guarantee your career". But it is really affecting me mentally.
