Trending @Cognizant; Release from project

I have got an offer letter with 100% hike they want me to join within 30-60 days and my project got billable on 25 dec 2026. But this project management said no for early release and I don’t have any dependencies and project just started and I have also submitted my resignation. Can any one give any solution for this I have also asked for buy out but they are still saying no.

Congratulations on the offer! Early release is possible, but your manager needs to agree. Unfortunately, most managers here won’t do it. My friend faced the same situation and she had to complete her entire period of notice.

Thank you! Do you have any idea about buy out?

If someone doesn’t not get early release how can leadership be pathetic. Anyway he is going out for money .same thing mangers are trying to save confirmed billing . Why should company take a billing loss when you don’t care about company

Well, you don’t have an idea. I have grind myself working in this company since 2024, two years, not a single recognition, or a hike and the leadership is pathetic because they abuse in the call and they do favouritism and, thankfully I switched too, and that I was able to do Yes. I also had to go through all three months notice period. And no early release.

He is going out because he is looking for himself, not for the money. He is looking for himself, his future.

Look for a known doctor and get a mental health issue certificate claiming that working in your situation is not correct and needs immediate release.

Is it really works🤪

Does this works I mean I’ll just stop working and get mental health certificate and ask for immediate release?

Say them that you don't want to work in this project and take release by any means

Do you have any idea how do I convince them for early release?

Your best option is buy out

It's not your Manager's decision. You must seek the approval from Director level. You have less than 1% chances of getting the approval.
