Trending @Wipro; Release from project

Hey guys , I got into a project where user stories are not in detail & background is not being shared by anyone . Getting frustrated when we don't know anything and getting work but no help from anyone . Thinking of asking release . What is the best way to get out of this messy project ! ?

Dude i literally have the same issue with my current project I can feel you... I hope they release me back to Bench, but what if they put us into PIP ? That's one dangerous reason not to ask for release from project. Let me know if you have asked the release from project.

Even I too had the same type of projects in wipro. All the projects I worked for is same. This made me think why I joined wipro three years back. In one of the survey in grapevine also said the same. But during the project, we think that if I am moving to the bench, it's tough to get the projects. And moreover I didn't work on development mostly. Even if client wanted to release me in December, I asked for extension. Finally, I got released in April stating no further chances of extension. I am happy to take release so that I can get rid of that project. At the same time I am sad as I am going to the bench.
