Hello, I have been working on a support project for 2.5 years and i am expecting a promotion in an upcoming compensation letter. But i want to ask for a release from the project is it the right time to ask for it or will the promotion be affected due to this or is it already done or fixed reg my promotion. If there will be no effect i am thinking of asking for a release. Any idea what I should do now?
Promotion will be given if you get top 2 ratings for 2 consecutive years. If you got top 2 ratings for 2 years, wait for the compensation Letter. If you didn't get top 2 ratings last year, you can go for the release.
I received GP for 2 consecutive years, but my manager recommended for my promotion. So how should I take this?
