Related work from office new policy
Hi,
I was doing work from home from last 5-6 months continuously because no one was checking if you are doing wfh or wfo. But now I have taken release from my previous project because it was not as per my skill set. And Tcs has a new policy now regarding work from the office, but I am on the bench now. So, resources on the bench also need to go 5 days/week office? Can they check the previous data also and ask me the reason for not reporting to the office?

I was not going because there were no seats at my location and no permanent seat was assigned to me. Due to wfo policy, most of the employees were coming daily so there were no seats even in the library and waiting lobby also. Outside the general odc, wifi network was not strong enough to open virtual machine due to which I was not able to work properly even after going to office. Then I decided to continue wfh.

He simply asked a question and people here started giving him lessons on life and progress. If u know the policy well then respond to him else say don't know. Bc log gyaan kyu pelne lag jate hai?

@FancyEdger1 : No, Hr will only consider the date that you On bench. Yes they do have the previous data but they don’t care about last 5-6 months(wfo). As of now if you stay at home Then they might ask you to apply leave for the days that you are not visited ofc. If you are on bench you have to visit office 5days for sure. If you are not willing to comply you loose ur EL.
Thanks buddy for providing this update instead of becoming HR like others. Yeah, I am going to the office now because I am on the bench and don't need seat and network connectivity now so it's not an issue now.
So how long do u spend in office being on bench!
People linking WFO with productivity and that too for Everyone.. What a Joke 😂😂😂 ... in my team when people were doing WFH they stayed working till 8 o clock in night , Now they just log off at 6 and travel for the next 2 hours standing in a bus something 😂😂😂
2-3 days per week I am still following.
Lets see what happens in the quarter end.
I don't think TCS can cut down money of 1 lakh people just like that.
Also there are multiple reports of swipe machine not registered attendance for some days due to technical fault. How will that be addressed !
swipe machine is working 99.99% and you can take advantage for only few days or 1 week.
You need to report everyday at the office. Check with your RMG regarding temporary seat.
If you are in bench report to rmg or swipe but never miss it coz when they notice you they will ask all of these and will try to scare you but they can't terminate you only they can cut the performance pay which if you feel not important you can stay
