Reissue of passport.
So my wife had a passport before we got married. Now I applied for reissue of passport, raised the request for updating name and address. Got appintment for PSK and after that police came for police verification, and after asking from when have she been living there, he left. Now a couple of days ago, I received this letter. Has this happened with anyone so far? What steps did they take. Ia there any specific document that needs to be carried? And would I be required to give some pocket money to the guy in PSK to get my work done?

Same thing happened with me. My passport is stuck in PAK office from almost 2 years. 2 time they did my police verification but still police is not clearing my address verification. Even though I’m offering some money also. Just again schedule the appointment with PSK. Give proper address documents as they will ask you for second time. Try pay the dome brine to policemen without delaying.
Yeah, was thinking the same. By the way, till this gets resolved, will the old passport still work since its not expired? Also, Is there some rule like after marriage you have to live for atleast 5 years to get the address updated in passport?
