REGARDING WFO EXCEPTION

Hello everyone,

I have a doubt regarding the WFO exception. I want to work from home for 2 weeks, but my team lead said I can only get 5 days of WFH exception per quarter. I told her that I will take another 5 WFH days without raising an exception, but my team lead said I need to discuss it with HR. I texted my HR about this, but she is not responding.

Will it be an issue if I raise 5 days of WFH twice without informing my team lead? I don't have any health issues or medical documents to submit. I just want to know if they might terminate me or take any other action if I do this.

Thank you.

You can raise 5 days of WFH exception and manage the remaining days strategically. For instance, take 3 days as WFH to maintain your 85% attendance and the other 2 days as leave (if possible).

Additionally, if you’ve maintained 100% attendance in October and November, you may not even need to take 2 day leave, as the 85% requirement is calculated quarterly. Just ensure you’re aware of your attendance percentage before making decisions. This way, you stay compliant without causing any issues.

There are NO "5 days per quarter" policies

Where does it say that only 5 days WFH exception per quarter. Ask your tl to show that in policy
