Regarding WFH approval

I am not tapping in and out at the office since I have no assigned work or allocated seat. I've already had a "no show" status for 10 days. What consequences might I face if I continue this?

Additionally, is it possible to request WFH on the grounds of no work and no seat allocated?

I had a conversation with the HR, they're saying that only 6 days in a quarter WFH is permissible. Any help would be appreciated.

Bro if they are paying you to just go to office and come back why you wont do it?? Please understand this.. RMG would put you in any stupid project if they see you as trouble maker . or they can even put you in pip and make you resign.. Please visit office and try to learn things or have fun instead. But dont take unnecessary trouble.. People are not getting jobs these days.

I'm already in a project but not getting work as they are still figuring it out what they have to assign idk 😂... If there will be no consequences then I can save my 3k to 4k in travelling expenses.

If you don’t go to office it’ll show “No show”, no need to worry about anything, they’ll deduct your Variable pay, as you are not allocated to any project don’t think it’ll be an issue. Please check for more information in tcs portal.

Actually, I'm a fresher and have just been allocated to the project. Since 1 month, I was just doing a tap in out.

WFH only 6 days in a quarter is when you take due to some urgency but Hr has the power to give you exception of n number of days. and also according to new WFH update long term WFH can be taken under infrastructure issues

They would cut your QVA and later if like you told you dont have anything to do in the project you may get kicked out as HR may flag you as a problem. Your manager wouldnt want to go over a huge ordeal for you. So yeah you will get stranded lose out on project no learning and then well worst case scenario be put on pip and get fired.

I would suggest just going to your nearest office and tapping in and then leaving back home. Why take a risk. Current market is a bit anti fresher. If you dont have relevant key talent you are losing out big.

If you do have skills and have plans for masters then go right ahead do you and take risk. But dont try risking too much cause this may later bite you in the ass when you least expect it.
