Regarding the application process at Infosys

Hi everyone, I recently applied for the Test Engineer role at Infosys, and initially, the status of my application was marked as "In Progress." However, it has now changed to "Rejected," with a note saying "In process for another job application."

I'm a bit confused about what this exactly means. Does it indicate that my profile is being considered for a different position within Infosys? Or should I assume the application is closed entirely?

If anyone from Infosys Talent Acquisition or someone who has faced a similar situation could guide me, I’d really appreciate your help. I’m very much interested in being a part of Infosys and would love to understand how to proceed further in this case.
