Trending @Wipro; Regarding relieving date during the bench period
Hi All,
I have been on the bench for the last 15 days and now I got an offer outside and applied for resignation. As I am on the bench i have asked HR for an early release, but got a response that I need to serve the notice period and also mentioned there is no buy out option as well.
Can anyone suggest how and whom to approach for an early release from wipro.

Raise issue with Ombuds. This is bullshit. Either they should give project or release immediately. If I was you, I wouldn't mind escalating to even CEO. Talk tough with HR and demand your immediate release else mention you will be mailing CEO on this.
I did the same but unfortunately no use of that they are just demanding to serve the entire notice period
If you are on bench only you can have a case for early release.
No they don’t give early release, even i am facing the same issue. I am on bench for the last 1 month and i have also resigned but still they are not giving early release and asking me to serve my entire notice period of 90 days
As per wipro policy we have to go on LOP after 45 days if no project is assigned right?
That is when you have not resigned from wipro I guess
You can take the help of delivery manager or your manager or anyone whom you worked under and have B3+ band and vouch for you (I you have less than 5 year experience) they can contact HR and may influence there decision.
I have 5 years of experience even my manager has asked to do so but they are not approving to any of the request
Yesterday one of my friend did the same and ho got released the same day

Don't ask the HR, if you ask they will never agree and drag.

Simply submit the resignation after that call HR
