Despite waiting for a promotion for the past two years, I didn’t bring it up with my people lead this time. But today, I received an invite for a one-on-one meeting — could this mean I’m finally getting promoted?

If your people lead is also a talent lead then they'll probably know the outcomes but people leads don't have visibility yet as I've checked myself being one. One on one's could be for multiple reasons so hope for the best. PS - if you're L9 and above getting promoted is tough unless you're exceptional
