Trending @Infosys; Regarding onsite opportunity

Hi friends, last July time my manager asked that anyone interested for mexico opportunity for 6 months..i informed home that am interested, he gave our name to his senior, after that no other information..nearly Sept starting he said visa process is going to start maximum it will take 3months..but still I didn't get any mail reagrding this..when I asked him he also not sure he said he will check with seniors.. But now I don't have any hope and also am not interestedin this project, I thought of company switch...so will that make any bad depression like I mentioned to manager interested to mexico and now am changing company like that? Is there anywhere that we can check this visa process started or not?? What you guys suggest switching or not, am planning to prepare till Dec end and from Jan I will apply...is that good time period to switch company?
