Regarding onsite

I want to know how we can get an onsite opportunity in a project.
Note:- this is for just knowledge. I know manager ki chatne se onsite milti hai but kuch or bhi hai to please share.
Firstly, the project should have sizeable on site commitments. Not all projects are contractually bound for onsite positions. Secondly, whatever domain or activities you are working in should have direct visibilit to customer so that they can dicsuss and interact with you whenever required so there is need to be there with them. Your manager, leads, solution architects should definitely be confident of your domain skill set and client handling skills. If there are multiple people in your project then it should be evident that you are more dedicated than others and are perfect for the role. Besides there is luck also, sometimes people are lucky and circumstances are such that are beyond regular control.
Take BSNL or SBI project ..you will easily get onsite ..
