Trending @Accenture; Regarding leave - I want quick suggestions pls

I want reply before 9.15 today pleasee… It’s monday today. I’m so much demotivated to work, my mental health is not good.I have been working without leaves for months. When I ask my manager for planned leave, she didn’t approve it. After that I never felt like asking her bcz i already knw what she is gng to reply. But today I’m really feeling very bad. I’m anyways going to take a sick leave this week bcz i want to go out. Shall i take leave today as well? If yes then how?? I’m afraid that after 2 weeks i will be taking an unplanned leave and i think if i take leave now, it will be difficult for me to take leave that day. My manager always says that sick leaves are fine but leaves on monday and friday are not acceptable bcz she feel that people intentionally take sick leave on these two days bcz it’s after or before weekend. Please suggest me how shall i go forward for today…

Maybe get a medical certificate (valid one) and take sick leave for a few days if really feeling low. Don't request them for leaves, just simply inform them on mail.

This is how it should be. Inform and not request for leaves which we are entitled to. Some asshole managers and deals have made it such that we have to take permission for leaves? Arrange for our backup? Wth? If we are doing the managers work what are managers for ? Just attending stupid meetings? Even sick leaves are turned into some kind of favour they are doing. I hate this

See anyhow you have to take leave this week right? So I suggest it's better Just hold for today and show them in the call that you are not well and then take leave so that your manager can't deny that leaves

who needs for approval sick leave? you simply put a msg that Due to health issues, I will be on leave today. thats it

Send an email to your manager and hr together if you are really planning it well in advance

It’s your leave. You’re entitled to take those leaves. Be it sick or casual or earned. You should take it. It’s not like that project would collapse, if you take a leave. Work for 9-10 hours and don’t extend. If you want to improve, pick a skill and do it for 1-2 hours additionally..
