Trending @Infosys; Regarding jl3 to jl4 promotion
I had joined infosys as lateral with 1.5 yrs of exp in year april 2022 my designation was senior system engineer later in year 2023 it gt changed to senior system engineer since then i am workin same project but still they are not promoting me to jl4 inspite of having commendable and met expectations rating
If i ask hr they drct m to manager and when i discuss with manager she says its not dependent on me its unit wise decision seriously i am fed up people who were junior to me in my project gt jl4 promotion i am feeling very bad as i hv never been on bench since i have joined infy
I am literally fedup with this kind of treatment even when i ask for release they r not giving i just dont understand what is the exact criteria and how things get decided fr jl4 promotion

I hope u get more sal than fresher SE>SSE>TA. That should give u sm peace. For ur ambitions to become TA, yes it depends on unit n a lot of oth hidden factors, email mgr hr dm clearly mentioning ur ambitions and qualifications. Also try acon bridge and ijp. Last opt is switch.
Drop mail to your manager nd cc your DM
Its based on unit ,so ur manager shkukd recommend/send your name and then u will be in list with others(who get recommended)
Then based on ratings,dq etc they will roll out letters
So u should ask your manager to give your name for prmotion,also increase dq and get good rating

Problem is now infy has lots of sse who are on verge of becoming TA ,so competition for spots are immense now ,so that is main issue regarding delays
