Regarding Credit Cards
Hey fellow Viners! I’m a recent graduate and have just started my first job. I’m looking to understand which credit cards I’m eligible for and which ones would be the best fit for someone in my situation. Would love your suggestions!

Amazon pay icici
- ltf, so no harm in getting it.
Airtel axis
- 10% flat upto 500 per month on zomato, swiggy, Bigbasket
- 25% flat upto 250 per month for airtel recharge/wifi bill payments
- 10% flat upto 250 per month for other bills
SBI cashback
- for 5% on Amazon flipkart and most other things, you need to learn how to use this card.
HDFC Millenia / Regalia / Infinia
- Based on your eligibility, if not eligible just get freedom / moneyback+ ltf for flipkart/amazon sales
HSBC Live +
- 10% flat up to 1000 for groceries per month
If you have traditional vehicles and spend > 5k on fuel per month overall, maybe one of
SBI BPCL Octane (can be used for sbi offers on Amazon / flipkart, does have rupay variant to use UPI to achieve spend criteria)
IDFC First HPCL power plus (only rupay variant available)
RBL IOCL card
(If you have sbi cashback, you might not need a fuel card)
Kiwi neon rupay card for UPI
This way 95% of your spending will get at least 5% discount. I didn't include travel related because i have never been on a flight. Maybe someone else will.

Most of these cards I suggested include spends that you will have to do regardless if you have a credit card or not(e.g. bills/groceries/fuel) so just make a promise to yourself, think of credit card as just a medium to pay, and never as "I want to get cashback so I must spend".
Also don't spend the money you don't have.

sbi cashback card + icici amazon pay card

Swiggy hdfc is one of the best ltf cards. I am getting around 2k cashback every month by spending just 25k on it.
