Hey my friends... I have joined in mastercard project at aug 2022 and still i am in B1 band Do you guys know when i will change band from b1 to b2 ??? Going to complete 3 years in wipro Should i speak with my manager regarding band promotion ?? I have completed my skills 1 course ..... BTW if we get promotion B2 means how much we can expect ???
You should keep asking your manager for promotion, generally if you have two good ratings you should be promoted from B1 to B2 without any issue. With new role based promotions coming into picture we need to see how it works. Nevertheless I think you should be promoted in the next quarter if you have 4/5 ratings in last three appraisals irrespective of you asking the manager or not
No chance of getting B2 then because i got last 2 times 3 rating only 🥲
You may need to wait for another appraisal then. 3 ratings of 3 would do . Anyways no harm is asking your manager to nominate you right. B1 to B2 is relatively easy to promote compared to higher bands say b3 to c1 and above. All the best 😀
