Regarding Band
I got C band in first year of joining TCS despite of handling 2 major projects due to manager politics. What will be the effect on my tcs carrier? What happens if i got another C band. I am having 7 years experience with C3A Grade. I also want to know what will be the impact if i ask for release from my current account?
Career - Not much effect. You can worry if you are somewhere closer to getting a C3B promotion. But i dont think you are.
Pay - C band could affect your QVA.
Release - no impact. They wont give you easily. They will drag until your dependency/criticality is gone. And then they will give you C before they release you. Or yoy could be a pain in the a** and they will release you someday. But accept mentally that it will be C when they release you. It is very common here. ( Not going into right or wrong)
As for C band - i am assuming you got into tcs with a good package. There will be existing team members with a low package. So to please them, manager would give you C and them A/B. (Again not going into right or wrong). Manager would try to extract more work from the person who is new/get paid more than those who are old/get paid less.

Bro Nothing happens if you get another C Band.
Make a note of what you have done for entire year and ask your manager that why he had given you C Band. See what happens, Anyways no changes happens after the Band Release.
Showing all these and ask him for a Release, saying that after all these you got C and don't want to stay here.
Better to change from this current account and look for other Account at this moment and you can prove there...there you may get a Good Manager who appreciates your work and may get a good Band there.
