I have received promotion eligible mail last month, However while I check with my manager he was telling that already lot of people in queue, so it's difficult to get promoted.
U got the mail directly , can u DM the mail body please..all these time my M said there is a different process for A to SA
Thats the same old excuse they give to every associate, i suggest if you have already got the mail for eligibility, then go ahead to TMP portal raise a one time request, your manager has to approve it as its the process, and after that you can apply to diffrent projects that are promotion eligible tag, once you are allocated to any of those project from the next month you are consideted as promoted.
This is IJM process in cognizant, only way to get promotions, otherwise you have to be dependent on your current project manager and chances are very low they would promote you. Speaking from experience.
