Reg TCS layoff

I am currently C3A, got C bands 2 times Allocated and working in a project with skills- java8, Spring boot and AWS from last 1 and half year. Will this 2% reduction in employment impact us also bcoz of bands? I am just worried on what basis they are laying off employees

if you get release from the project then u are gone. stick where you are.

They are not ready to release, when I asked for the release bcoz of the band given even though I performed well ( they told me that C3A and above getting A and B band is very difficult here it seems)
