Reg report to RMG
TCS is saying to report to RMG for unallocated associates for 5 days a week and should be in the office for swipe out between 4-5pm. How is this even possible? By staying in the office for 8 hrs with no access to any learning websites instead of being home and upskilling ourselves. Also if we miss our few days a month will there be any problem and is that true they'll stop our pay and restrict ultimatix. If true can i know when stopping pay will happen after not reporting.

First of all it’s up to your luck regarding the nature of RMG you get. Few are friendly, so they may tell you to be available when you get any call from any project that’s it. But many are like you mentioned above. Second thing, I’m aware, LinkedIn learning is available free of cost to all TCS associates. Also, you’re earlier in any project then you might have Udemy access as well(requires TD approval). You can go to library and read there using tcs laptop and WiFi. Alternatively you can use your mobile 😅
Look for some other company, unless you really need to find a project in TCS and can see a future. I hope you are also trying outside in parallel.
Only 1 time swiping for you? Which location are you from? For us its mandatory 2 times swiping or else half day leave 🙃.
4 months unallocated still i didn't get any project didn't receive a single call for react.js. I'm in Bangalore location, ya its mandatory 2 times for me too but I'm only swipe in morning and not swiping out for past 2 month's and i took leave for one month and didn't apply leave and they didn't ask me to apply as well. No Stop pay action or hr action still and i even received quarterly bonus where my fellow unallocated friends didn't. And if you didn't swipe out at evening they'll send mail to apply leave for half day i just ignore that mail for past 2 months
Yes in Bangalore they have started like this not only for junior employees but senior as well, main moto is to anyhow get lesser people in bench strength , I guess all this doing is so as to force people take up any project. Moreover there is no proper sitting arrangement .
Just pick any project and work there.. no issues of rmg
But for the Hyderabad location some associates got mail to visit the Adibatla hyd location for 9hours from that location or lead hr action..if we won't go what will be the consequences
