Trending @Wipro; Reg a warning comment from a manager
Hi all,
As mentioned, I resigned on Friday and discussing with HR for an early release. Last week, I attended a level 1 interview for an internal account and they scheduled a 2nd round of interview this Wednesday.
As they got to know that I had resigned from the organisation, the account manager called me and asked me to attend the interview and give my best so that I will be in the project till my last working day.
I had just msgd him in teams that I am requesting HR for an early release".
This is his exact response: "Whatever, pls attend the interview and give your best. Otherwise, I will see that your last date will not be pushed... So, be very careful..."
Now he deleted the msg from otherwise to end and just kept the first line. But I had taken the screenshot before he deleted it.
I hope this is not a correct way to talk and I would like to escalate it to respective teams.
Please let me know your thoughts and where can I register the complaint.
Thanks, Phani

Ombuds

First of all, congratulations on your new opportunity.
Coming to the scenario in question, this is a ombuds scenario. It's good you have ss. God forbid, if anything happens pls use that as an evidence. This types of behaviours are condemned in Wipro.

You can raise a SIR on this

Instead of fighting and escalating, think of win-win approach. Tell manager I will give interview and do my best but you have to prepone my LWD.

He can't do anything after you have resigned and your last date is there in the system.

Thanks for the reply

Why are you taking interviews after you resigned? You're leaving the company anyway

HR case buddy. Wipro HR has strict guidelines about such things. You don't have to worry.
In fact going by your manager's statement i won't be surprised if he marks your rehire status as NO. Please create an HR case.
