Refurbished laptops

Need opinions on refurbished laptops on Amazon.

I need one as a personal device, I would install some lightweight linux distro on it.

The info I need is:

• Appropriate CPU clock speed and cores required.
• cost.
• common problems with refurbished devices/vendors.

Prefered specs:

• 16GB RAM
• SSD boot drive with additional capacity for another disk (maybe HDD).
