As a fresher, how to ask for a referral on linkedin in a professional way to increase the chances of getting referral?

When i get linkedin messages for referrals, i usually prefer them to be straightforward with the job link to which you wanna apply and attached should be a resume. I do not prefer seeing big paragraphs. Just tell me about your stack expertise, role you're interested in, job role link, resume attached. That's all. This may vary from person to person but this is how i prefer seeing referral messages.

Don't overthink it. Just be to the point and ask.

If you need a concrete example then something along the lines of "Hi ABC, I can see your company is hiring for XYZ and I have expertise in the same so could you refer me as a potential candidate. Thanks in advance" should mostly do the trick.
