Trending @Infosys; Referral using candidate ID

For past sometimes, I am trying to refer my friend to infy, but whenever I try to refer him, it says candidate with these details is already available, as he's already applied earlier from his side also. So to refer again, does the candidate always needs to provide a new number and email ID? Or we can use the already generate candidate ID for it?
