I'm trying to refer my friend but getting an error that "Application or candidate details already exist". Is there any way to remove the previous application as it's been a year now.
I have been facing the same issues. It's better to refer with alternate email id and mobile number of your friend.
Reach out to Recruitment Specialist who looks after hiring for your practice. They have access to check and reset. Reset can only happen under certain conditions. If the candidate has been rejected in first interview round, then you will have wait for 6 months before requesting for purging the candidate’s profile. Once perged, you should be able to refer the candidate again for open position.

When the candidate got referred for the first time, he/she might recieved a link to workday stating that they would be able to revoke their application with that workday link. Ask your friend to find that email in his/her inbox. Only they themselves can revoke/withdraw the existing application otherwise they will have to wait for the mentioned minimum duration.
