He is not the only one with huge experience and a very lower package. Situation in BPS/BPO/BPM is very pathetic, specially for the employees who joined in less packages and stayed here in TCS for longer period. Probably, 70-80% of employees in lower band have a similar situation. The future here is dark for ppl staying longer than 2-3 years.

Trying outside is fine but there is a program called wings2, since you have scrum master experience you can try choosing SM as your future role. It's bit tough and timing taking but if you can clear that then you will get 5 to 6L hike. Many got that before.

Completed wings2 as well bro even gave my PP1 interview but didn't get the distinction the interview was very tough the questions are not as Scrum master aspirants instead it went for 1 hr like experienced scrum master.

If you want release from project join everyday but do very less work. Take more and more leaves and study hard consistenly give most of your time to upskill yourself and just forget about office work TCS dont fire make use of it. Once they will see you are lagging behind and work is pending they will get rid of you and you will get release. Meanwhile apply and learn like hell.
You can make it bro. Have faith.

Bhai I can feel your pain.. I wish I could have done something..lekin agar release hi nhi de rhe to fir switch ke alawa koi option nhi .. lekin tunm baar baar unko mail pe bolte rho release ka.. aur jab tak nhi deta tab tak tum try kar hi rhe ho switch ka.. agar koi technical help chiye ho to batana..Best of luck..

Tf!? How come it's so low? In TCS myself, so can't refer. But please keep applying on Linkedin and update on job portals.
