Reducing Tcs notice period?

Is there a way to reduce notice period in Tcs? Can we pay compensation to get it reduced? Please let me know what are the policies.

In your joining letter they have already mentioned that you can buy out you notice period by paying 3 months salary to reduce NP. PLS REFER YOUR JOINING LETTER
