Reducing notice period in tcs

I am shortlisted for a new job. The notice period here is 90 days. But the new employer is ready to roll out offer letter if my notice period is lesser. What are the possible ways to reduce notice period. If not possible, should I take risk and get offer from my new employer by telling them my notice period is negotiated and has been reduced to 30-45 days?
