Recruitment maturity model (teardown)

  • Will hire anyone (cause org has no brand, no money and too much hope)
  • Will hire anyone who fits the budget and can join (cause org has little money, but still no brand)
  • We hire only from Tier 1 colleges/ X named companies (cause org is funded)
  • We hire but we do not negotiate offer - take it or leave it (cause founder had 7 red bulls and the org is funded)
  • We hire only those who have done the exact same job before (cause now org has attitude)
  • We hire only people who are not job-hopping (cause people left cause this org and its people have attitude)
  • We hire only if they can join immediately or are serving notice period (less than 30 days)(cause people and org both are desperate)
  • We hire what we like inhouse and hire agency for the dirty work
  • Will hire only from references
  • Will hire anyone who fits the budget and can join
  • Will hire anyone (.. cause of course Talent is everything..)

see the loop : hunger → ego → chaos → humility but sure be my guest .. get stuck where you feel comfortable on the recruitment maturity model.
