Recruiters behaviour
I have had a recruiter reach out to me for google interview. That recruiter opened my leetcode profile for 30 min straight was giving me lecture on how to improve my coding skills i e. Right now your acceptance % is near 50 which means you solve question in 2 nd attempt , make it close to 100, improve you rating in contest, solve more questions on x y z concepts etc etc. Similar happened with my amazon recruiter, he had set up a 1 hour call with all the candidates at 9pm on Friday and was reading from somewhere , he was not able to pronounce recursion currently but was giving gyaan on how you should approach and solve problems. These people might have not even solved 10 questions in their entire lifetime, yet somehow they have the authority to lecture us on how tou should solve a problem. I felt a bit offended by it. Do you people also feel the same.
Leetcode and DSA at this day and age? That too from Google and Amazon? This is disheartening man 🥲
You're in Uber , so I guess they expect you to be good at it

Its not about leetcode or dsa, they also talk about lld and design round. Its just that they dont know about a lot of terms yet they want to do all this to show some kind of authority over us. They would not know anything if you cross question them. Won’t it be better to just send the doc they are reading from.

Wait you're at uber, aren't uber interviews harder than both these bums at amazon and google?

I never said anything about what is easy or hard, just talking about the recruiters approach of handling candidates. They dont know anything about coding, if you cross question them, they themselves are not able to answer the question and give a neutral reply, yet they have to show the authority somehow. All that they can do is send the doc which they are reading from
