Title is very misleading. The image clearly says "Indian software services companies" and you have equated that with software hiring.

Just to let you know that apart from the situation with the economy, clients in general are moving away from Indian service based companies due to having a poor experience with them and seeking alternatives or setting up software teams in-house. Other areas for software hiring are not as badly hit. It definitely has been bad but Indian service companies are having it much worse.
