Recommendations for tablet

I’m looking to buy a tablet mainly for watching videos/content (YouTube, Netflix, streaming). I may also use it sometimes for Zoom, browsing, and casual apps, but media consumption is the main purpose.

I do have the budget to buy an iPad, but I’m wondering if it’s worth spending that much when my main use is just entertainment. I’d rather get the best value option than pay extra unnecessarily.

Currently considering tablets like Xiaomi Pad 7, Redmi Pad 2 Pro, OnePlus Pad Go, and base iPad.

My priorities are:

• Strong battery life
• Smooth performance
• Good long-term value

Which tablet would you personally recommend for this use case? Real user experiences would really help.
