Hi Guys, most of the time my seniors seek my help in their work. I have solved their queries many times and they don't ever say that they took my help, nor even approach other seniors for help, it's only me.

In my manager's opinion, a senior is a senior and a junior is a junior. When I approached him for a promotion nomination, he just laughed and told me he'll do it next year. So, I got to know that my work isn't reaching him. What should I do so that he acknowledges my "better" work?

Your seniors are using you like a free Netflix subscription. And your manager, he's just playing the 'Kal Ho Na Ho' tune on you. What's your plan, to become the eternal junior?

Lol, we are in the same boat. My manager never sees my efforts. Once made me work for an extended time, and had to complete all the required changes for the customer demo. Demo went smoothly, and yet got to know he complained to my project lead that I am a clueless person. All these weeks of hardwork, only to listen such comments.

The best option is to search for companies, which I am doing rn. And slap managers with resign papers (And offer letter too if needed😹)

Next time they ask for help ask them to send mail copying your manager, or when you have done the help send them mail copying your manager. But be prepared that same approach would be followed by others also when you need help.

Is it ok if I tell that? I mean, do managers accept that generally?

You should be talking to his manager rather than convincing him to promote you
