Recently promoted and feeling guilty to switch now
I have overall 6.4 experience, with data engineer experience with 4+ , and I have been promoted this month and I am happy as I was not expecting and I was preparing to switch by dec. Now I have got promoted and base pay is 7.5lpa ctc 8lpa, so please advise me.
Your pckg should be more than 15 LPA.
Company has never felt guilty while paying you peanuts so why you are feeling guilty for switch.
Every body is on its own. You earn less, your problem. You earn more, your potential.
Worry about your future not company. They might layoff you anytime.

In corporate world, feeling guilty is the most naive thing to do. Just switch and trust me you won’t regret it. Your manager would’ve done the same
Got the promotion, now leave. It's for work you've already done, not a guarantee for rosy times ahead or anything else
You should at least get 15L Don't settle for less
