Recently joined Infosys and nominated for Automation Training – need clarity

I joined Infosys in September 2025. About a month after joining, I received an email stating that my manager had nominated me for QA Automation training.

The training duration is 45 days, and post training I’m expected to clear the assessment and Selenium certification.

However, the training schedule is quite intense — around 7 to 7.5 hours per day (9:30 AM to 5 PM). Personally, I find it difficult to sit continuously in front of the system for such long hours. The sessions also feel very fast-paced; for example, the entire Java syllabus was completed in just 6 days.

Because of this, I’m a bit concerned about my ability to clear the assessment and certification.

I would like some clarity on the following: • What are the consequences if I do not clear the training assessment or Selenium certification? • Could it impact my employment, or lead to termination? • Are there alternative options or reassignment possibilities?

Currently, my project assignment status shows “Training Code”, whereas earlier it was “Bench.”

Any guidance or insights would be really helpful.
