Trending @Infosys; Recently got promoted to Consultant and got a hike
I got hike letter in Feb of 8%. Suppose my salary is 100000 per month, it was now 108000. Yesterday I got the compensation revision letter related to my promotion and it states that my current salary was still 100000 and now it will be 120000. Where is the figure 108000? Shouldn't I be getting promotion compensation above this. Only thing I see is both of the compensation letters are effective from 1st Jan. Is it the case that I haven't got any hike? Please clarify if someone has idea about this.
Since, both are effective from Jan 25 therefore the annual hike as well as the promotion hike both will be applicable on the old CTC, the 120000 will be your final CTC. So you got 12% as promotion hike and 8% as annual hike.
Now put papers and get 100% hike
You got promoted to senior consultant by IJP or by any assessment clearing or by other means?

I raised a concern to my manager that I have joined infy since two years and got no hike since then. I got commendable for both years. So he took my case forward and hence I got it. I had to clear BCEP training though for eligibility

Bhai thats how they do.. You are only a single employee.. They have to do it for thousands....
Only promotion hikes will be effective since the hike is from the same period
