Recent AI development and future of software development

I have use claude model recently and literally I'm amazed to see it's capabilities ( it can read full companies repository, understand it, resolved defects and apply any features on it), really it'll going to disrupt whole software industry, I believe in future next 2-3 years workforce reduces drastically, layoff would be normal and india will suffer most, because india have over supply of software engineers but going forward oportunities going to decline exponentially, I know it won't reduce to zero but still most companies will operate with 10-20% engineers only.

people who doesn't have any generational wealth , what's your plan 'B' ?
