Received D banding due to internal politics

Hi all I am an experienced hire. Joined in feb 23. I have received D band due to internal politics. Will my salary decrease? I wanted to switch after april but what should i do now? Please guide me.

Politics in office? Welcome to the real world, my friend. Salary decrease? Unlikely. But, your growth might hit a roadblock. "D" banding is like a black mark on your report card. Switching jobs? Might be a good idea, but remember, "Har jagah aag lagi hui hai". Now, have you considered how you'll explain this D banding to your future employers?
