Received Amazon interview invite & interviewer didn't join - Now ghosted
I received a call from the recruiter last week to confirm my interview for a role at Amazon. I spent the entire weekend preparing for my dream role at my dream company. I felt like my prayers were finally being answered. Since the interview timings clashed with my meeting at my current job, I rescheduled those meetings even though I am at a very crucial stage in my current role. When I joined the interview link, the interviewer didn't join the call. After 10 min of waiting in the meeting room, I immediately called the HR and she said that she'll check with the interviewer and asked me to wait for another 15 mins and if the interviewer didn't join she'd reschedule the interview. I waited for 30 mins but still no one joined the link. I sent an email to the HR, and kept following up via email. I tried calling but my call was not answered.
What's the point of testing how new hires are aligned with LPs when the HR / existing employees doesn't have the courtesy to get back!
I'm absolutely clueless as to what I should do? Has anyone been in the same situation? Do I need to wait for a couple of days for HR to get back? Feel so frustrated !!

Contacting hr (or whomever you are in contact with) is the only way forward.
In reality, hr don't have any influence when interviewer is not available, they also can only follow up with interviewer or hiring manager, in case they are stuck in high sev issues, they may simply move it to following week or so without informing hr even. So as candidate, you won't even know.
Don't get frustrated for small things, just keep your cool.

For me after the initial phone screening which went well she said she'll schedule an interview and I got ghosted, didn't get the interview scheduled, finally got a reply from Amazon that the position is filled already

Sorry to hear this. But honestly, you don’t need to get all rattled and worked up on this. Interviews get cancelled often. Interviewers may have got pulled into critical meetings or escalations or some last minute personal exigency.
