Trending @Accenture; Received a CIP mail from HR at Accenture — What should be my next steps? Will I get the 3-month notice if I resign now?
I’m currently working at Accenture and recently received an email from HR informing me that I’ve been placed on a Capability Improvement Plan (CIP). This came as a bit of a surprise, and I’m trying to understand the implications of this move.
I'm considering resigning, but I’m unsure about the process and consequences:
If I submit my resignation now, will I still be allowed to serve the standard 3-month notice period, or could Accenture waive or reduce it because of the CIP? How does being on a CIP affect the exit process, final settlement, and future references? Is it better to try and complete the CIP period or leave proactively? Has anyone here been through something similar? What would you recommend? Would appreciate any insights, especially from those who've worked in Accenture or have dealt with a similar situation in consulting firms.
Thanks in advance!

Why they have given CIP are you there in bench?

You should give a complete picture here. Were you on a project or bench. How long? Primary skill etc so that people can tell you completely without many to and fro
To answer your question, it's mentioned in your offer letter that NP is 3 months which months you will have to serve 3 months and company must pay you 3 month salary on exit be it resignation or termination. So even if you fail cip you will get fnf
